The OU Sooner Flight Academy summer flight camps challenge students ages 6-18 to learn the principles of flight using science and mathematics. Campers engage in hands-on activities which demonstrate the science, technology, engineering and math of the exciting world of flight.
The camp theme is Birds. Campers spend every day having fun and learning new things about the world around them. The airport provides opportunities to explore math, science, and technology from a very different perspective. In addition to learning things about all kinds of birds, campers enjoy rockets, kites, and, of course, OU's fleet of training aircraft to climb in and explore.
