4-H FLY-IN

Washington – The Skypilot and Thunderbird groups had their first annual Fly-In and Health Workshop.  The event included demonstrations by the kids and a “fit and show” competition, which they do at the fair.  Demonstrations included vaccination instruction.  They had a fun chili dog lunch and a drawing for kids to win a pigeon.  Visiting groups and individuals were included.  Sky Pilots’ leader, Herb Cartmell, said “My goal is to send every kid home with a bird or two (that has a loft).
