AU member Ed Verkleeren, out of Pennsylvania, coordinated with the sporting goods store to make the release happen.
Club members built a mini-loft for the event.
AU Lakes Zone Director, Ron Pairan, shared information about the American Racing Pigeon Union and also donated a nice pair of pedigreed young birds for a drawing.
